Be the Serpent is a great podcast, I totally recommand looking it up.

I listened to this episode this morning before work, and you are right it is so great! I'll definitely have to start going through the back issues. :D

I think my favorite is episode 1, but to enjoy it fully it's better to have read both Astolat's "Victory Condition" and Ursula Le Guin's "The Ones Who Walk Away from Omelas" ... But I had a blast listening to it, and more broadly I really enjoy the way they discuss their themes, treating fanfics exactly as other cultural objects like movies or book: worth serious literary analysis.

I noticed the way they treated their fanfic examples, and I have to say I really appreciated it. I haven't decided which way to go, backward from the most recent or start at the beginning but I'm definitely excited about following it from now on. :D
