Inktober 2019 - week 2
Oct. 16th, 2019 06:47 pm![[personal profile]](https://www.dreamwidth.org/img/silk/identity/user.png)
I have been pretty irregular with drawing every day: some night I just crashed and went to sleep, or real life interfered and I didn't have the spoons to draw once the socialising was done.
Day 7 - Enchanted

Day 8 - Frail

Day 9 - Swing

Day 10 - Pattern
WIth a few shape-animals. Always a fun exercice!

Day 11 - Snow

Day 12 - Dragon
I decided to make it a serie with last year's water dragon!

Day 13 - Ash

Day 14 - Overgrown
A Laputa fanart. Ghibli fans will know. :)

15 - Legend
Morvac'h (means Sea Horse) from breton mythology. My favorite legendary horse! I'm very happy with the sea in this one. (But I'll need to take an other picture...)
Also some people asked me if I was going to sell my inktober drawing like I did last year and the answer is yes. I'll do that in november (if the baby let me of course), probably on facebook because Etsy takes a fee and for original art I don't need batch handling (also, last year none of my sales came through Etsy, so it doesn't feel necessary to bother).
As always my art accounts are Art of Clem on Instagram, Facebook and Tumblr. If you want to follow along my inktober and not wait for the recap, feel free to suscribe!
Also it's getting hard to sit at a table and to draw for a long time: the belly gets in the way. :D
But despite all of that I'm up to date!

Date: 2019-10-18 02:18 pm (UTC)I tend to prefer looser drawing styles, but inktober is also the occasion to try on styles I haven't used before! :)
The water in the last drawing was actually inspired by the way an artist friend draw waves. She is a hugely talented engraver, and I had a look at how she drew the sea in her series " Deux semaines sans voir une île" that mixes stone and water : https://anouckfaure.com/
The original drawings are sadly in a private collection, but the day she makes prints for it, I'll grab one so fast!
